Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between auto-darkening and passive welding helmets? Auto-darkening helmets automatically adjust the lens shade to protect your eyes from the bright arc light, providing convenience and safety. Passive helmets have a fixed shade lens that doesn’t change, requiring you to manually flip the helmet up and down when welding.

Can I use your helmets for grinding and cutting? All of our helmets come with a grind mode, allowing you to switch between welding and grinding without removing your helmet. Our Lift-Up helmet is designed specifically to enhance this capability in your workflow.

How do I care for and maintain my welding helmet? To extend the life of your welding helmet, keep it clean and regularly inspect the components for scratches or damage. Store your helmet in a cool, dry place, and avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight when not in use. For more information check the User Instructions.
