The AKETEK® VIEW welding helmet is designed for electric arc welding (MIG/MAG, MMA, TIG), plasma welding & cutting, and grinding. This versatile helmet is designed to be user-friendly, convenient, and to give you the highest level of optical protection. All the advanced features are built-in, giving you more time to focus on your real work.
Smart auto-delay that dynamically adapts the speed at which the dark state returns to the light state based on your welding speed.
‘Always on’ – So you don’t have to turn it on between each use.
Equipped with our auto-darkening filter, the AKETEK® VIEW has a light state shade of 3 and a variable dark state in the range of 8-12. This ensures optimal visibility and protection during your work. All our helmets are rated 1/1/1/1, and V1 & enhanced optical performance according to the latest ISO16321.
The welding filters in AKETEK® products are in a league of their own, offering some of the highest clarity while remaining highly energy efficient, lasting upwards of 88.000 hours of usage. This means that the helmet can be on all the time and ready for action – just pick it up and start welding.

The Auto-Darkening Filter
With over 45 years of knowledge, AKETEK® auto-darkening filters are designed to meet the needs of welders. Our goal is to provide you with performance, convenience, and efficiency, delivering reliable protection to every weld.
The welding filter has two sensors strategically located at eye level to provide complete coverage. It has a variable dark shade of 8-12 and a light state shade of 3, ensuring great visibility and protection during your work. AKETEK® filters are ‘always on’ with a market-leading battery life of up to 88.000 hours – equivalent to 10 years of readiness.
Lightweight and Ergonomic Design
The AKETEK® VIEW is a lightweight, durable, and ergonomically designed helmet that offers maximum comfort. The headgear in the helmet has five adjustment points, allowing you to find the perfect fit so that the helmet can support you for a whole workday. It comes equipped with a sweat pad for your forehead and a soft neck pad for increased comfort at your neck.
